Customizing the Display

Filtering Records

You can filter the list of licenses based on the status of the license. The check boxes in the top of the window are the status filter options.

When a filter is enabled (checked), the display lists only those licenses that meet the criteria.

Columns

The columns in the display can be modified using the Column Selection button above the record list. Column visibility settings are specific to each view type.

Column Description

Address (IP Address)

The IP address of the user’s computer.

Code

The code used to request a host Activation Key. (Host Activation view only)

Computer Name

The name of the user’s computer.

Control Server

See Name below. (Web Control Server view only)

DCL Version (DCL)

The version of the CygNet DCL library on the user’s computer.

First Used

The timestamp of the first time the record was registered with the ARS.

Gateway

(Enterprise Gateway view only)

Key

The key used to activate a host record. (Host Activation view only)

Last Modified

The timestamp of the last time the record was modified by the ARS. (Host Activation view only).

Last Used

The timestamp of the most recent time the record was registered with the ARS.

License Record Key

The record’s license key.

Local UUID

The UUID of the CygNet installation on the user’s computer.

Max Users (Web Users)

The maximum number of web users allowed on the given server (web server records only).

Meter Ordinal

 

Mod 1

The last time that the record has been modified.

Mod 2

The second-to-last time that the record was modified.

Name (User ID)

The username. In Web Control Server view, Web Status Server view, and Web View Server view, the User ID column changes to Control Server, Status Server, or View Server, respectively.

Note: The CygNet Web application has reached its End of Life with the release of CygNet v9.8. This option has been deprecated, but remains configurable for backwards compatibility.

OS ID

The numerical version of the operating system on the user’s computer.

OS Version

The name of the operating system on the user’s computer.

Record Key

See License Record Key above.

Record Version

 

Status

The status of the user’s license record. See Status for more information.

Status Server

See Name above. (Web Status Server view only)

UIS Command

 

User Name

See Name above (Host Activation view only)

View Server

See Name above. (Web View Server view only)

Exporting License Manager Contents

Each view of License Manager can be exported to a CSV file. This file can then be opened with another application, formatted and printed.

To Export License Manager Data

  1. Click on the desired view in the left pane.
  2. Click the Export Data button.
  3. Click to select the file you wish to export to. If the file does not already exist it will be created during the export process.
  4. Select the desired Records to Export option.
  5. Select the desired Columns to Export option.
  6. Click the Export to CSV button.
  7. Click the Close button.
